This is NOT a 3.5 star hotel
hotel was a disgrace. a/c was ancient & did very little. Repeated requests for repairs made no differnence. Switched rooms and went 2 degrees cooler. Desk staf apologized- said it was the best the system could do. Hallway carpets hadnt been cleaned in years; dirty and greasy. Shower drain not cleasned in a while. Overflowed if you didnt shut off water during shower. Previous overflows had damaged door and walls and wall covering. Stained and needed replacement. Minibars needed defrosting-clogged with ice and not coll inside. 12" TVs- onlyEnglish speaking channel is CNN from UK. Breakfast food was poor. Choice of pastries limited to croissant and plain roll. Eggs, bacon and ham was inedible. Fair selection of dry cereals and good cappucino. Kitchen staff not friendly or willing to help. Hair dryer in room also very old; dryer hose held together with tape. Blew only luke warm air. Hotel entrance had 8 steps-tough for luggage. Need a ramp. Two dead pine trees at front entrance were spray painted green to hide brown branches. Godd water pressure in shower and rooms were good size wiuth fresh linens daily. Would never stay there again.
Traveler's tip on dining
Previous tip to eat at Angelicos around the corner is a good one. Also major supermarket 200 yards away around curve so you cant see it. Best market we found in Italy.

Nice Hotel in Northern Rome
This hotel is very nice. Rooms not too spacious, but clean and interesting. Good spread for breakfast. Hotel staff a little impersonal.
Traveler's tip
This hotel is a little out of the way for those going to Romes best known sites. It is closest to the Borghese Museum. We only needed to walk two blocks, however to catch the Fiumicino train down to the heart of things - Spanish steps and SHOPPING.

Decent hotel
Away from major attractions but one train stop from Euclid to Flaminio will put you right on Red Metro. There is a supermarket 50 yards from the hotel. A few resturants by the Euclid train station(e.g, a chinese resturant). The staff is helpful. Free internet in the lobby. Breakfast buffet is great. We took a tour to Pompeii arranged by the hotel. The tour operator will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. For a comparable hotel near attractions you will pay 20-30% more easily. 5 minute walk from hotel to Euclid train station.
