Typical American Style Hotel
Hotel room was extremely spacious but did lack some charm. If you want an american style room with more than average space than this hotel is for you. It just doesn’t deliever much beyond that with regard to character or charm.

Spacious Room, Great Location
This wonderful hotel is located on a beautiful tree lined street, with exceptional views of the race course. Our room was luxurious...the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom immaculate. The room was so inviting that we chose to stay in the first night and enjoy a gourmet room service meal. The next morning we were refreshed and ready to see the sight of York. It felt as though we were in the middle of a park. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the walled city. There is also a direct bus that you can take. I highly recommend this hotel, a perfect place to stay in York.
