Nice Hotel
We spent time at the Artis Hotel in Vienna in March 2009. The room/bathroom was a bit compact but was adequate for the week we spent there. The hotel is very close to Belvedere Palace and transportation into the city center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the front desk people where very nice and helpful!

Very friendly staff
The room was small but adequate. The location of the hotel was very good. Although not in the city centre, it was very close to a tram stop that placed you in the city centre near the Opera House in 7-8 minutes. The best thing to recommend this hotel was the friendly and helpful nature of the staff to the tourist travelor.

Easy to/from airport
The hotel’s close to the Belvedere and the Rennweg S-Bahn station, and there’s a nearby tram to take you into the city center, though its a walkable distance as well. There were multiple tour groups coming in and out; the hotel’s not fancy, the breakfast was satisfactory but you’ll have to sample real Viennese coffee elsewhere. It was a good value and a satisfactory experience.
