What’s Your Name
As the name of the place is no longer Howard Johnson but Medford Inn, I had great difficulty in locating the place. I drove by the place serveral times in the middle of the night but the sign reads "Medford Inn."

Do not recommend this Howard Johnson to anyone.
The hotel room wasn’t clean and was infested with spiders and insects. Also, the continental breakfast only consisted of juice, cereal, toast, english muffins and apples. Normally, Howard Johnson hotels usually have a good selection of fruits and pastries. I’ve stayed at Howard Johnson hotels in the past and have always had a good experience, however this was definitely the worst Howard Johnson stay I’ve had.

Not bad
The lady who checked us in that night was really nice! The pool was great after a hot and smokey day. The rooms were clean. The night’s sleep would have been good if a policeman hadn’t been trying to get into the room next door. The constant pounding actually woke up a number of people, both at 0520 and again at 0710 (on a Sunday morning). During the first round I tried to call the desk, but no one answered, so "someone at the desk 24 hours" isn’t quite true. I called more than once. Other than that, it was a pretty good place to stay. Would probably stay there again.
