Fantastic Hotel
Lots of staff eager to help in any way. Very friendly. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I’ve ever had - anywhere. Very pleased.

Qingdao Shangri-La
I stayed at the Shangri-La for 8 days during a recent business trip. The hotel and service was exceptional. The only thing they didnt do was tuck me in at night. The Q-bar was fantastic. The bartenders are very nice and know their drinks. I highly recommend the Long Island Iced Teas and the Mojitos. The only thing I would be wary about are the "bar girls", but that is anywhere in China. The facilities were exceptional and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I travel alot throughout Asia and this was by far the nicest hotel.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Go to the Q-bar for happy hour (2 for 1). Also, tip heavy on the first drink and they will treat you very well all night long.

Look forward to next visit
Stayed at Qingdao Shangri-la for 2 days during China Golden Week Holiday. Enjoyed the club package with room in the new Valley Wing. Room decor and ammenities were first class, with gret view of the Qingdao harbor and water front. Enjoyed the Club services for breakfast and evening happy hour. Hotel is in good, central location for sightseeing in the area. Will definitely stay there again on next visit.

Day trip to Lao Shan was great, but very busy on holiday!
