Would stay there again
Hotel personnel were extremely helpful in all matters. Very knowledgable about the city and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. Many of the attractions were but a short cab ride away. Central location was a blessing.

Excellent value and good staff
Nice little hotel in Paris. Very accessible to the Metro (Porte Maillot) and Palais des Congres. Like most traditional hotels in Paris, it is an old hotel, but nice and clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Spend the whole day outside in Paris (or inside at museums); remember this is for what you are in Paris. Use the hotel only for crashing at night.

nice hotel
hotel was great, our room was smaller than we expected, but the bathroom was large by French standards, at least compared to our last visit. The staff was very helpful, they spoke English, some more than others, but we had no trouble in communicating.

Very Convenient and a Nice Hotel for the Money
The Harvey Hotel is in a very convenient location. One block from the Metro and the RER (direct service to Versailles). The Air France bus from the airport stops one block away. Lots of very good and reasonably affordable restaurants in the area, including the most famous steak restaurant in France. We had two adults and two 16-year old girls in one room. It was tight, but quite comfortable. The hotel is small, but very French and very clean and well-maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We would stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Buy your tickets to the Louvre and the Muse DOrse in advance at the Virgin Store on the Champs Elysee, to avoid the long lines.

Good, small hotel, good neighborhood
I hate staying in giant sterile international hotels -- but I needed to be near the conference I was attending, needed a room big enough to comfortably use a laptop, and of course I need a good internet connection. Harvey Hotel was perfect. The price was right. Internet (a rock-solid and fast WiFi connection) was 15 euros extra for the three-night stay. And walking distance to the front of the Palais de Congress was actually closer than from the conference hotel. (Although, admittedly, the walk from the conference hotel was all indoors.) The place was clean. Noise did carry from room to room. Bath facilities, in-room, were great. Some people will be annoyed by having to carry bags up or down a few steps from the elevator -- common in small European hotels. I had a quick breakfast there the morning of my departure. At 11 euros, it was expensive for what I got -- but Im allergic to wheat and could not partake of the great rolls.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Its paris, and within walking distance of the eiffel tower and arc de triomphe. Its also on the subway line with direct run to most of the great museums. Local bistros were quite good. we particularly liked la sale, a few blocks away.

Suitable for a family with children
Conveniently located. Close from an Air France bus stop, a Metro Station and a SNCF station (Porte Maillot), each within 5 minutes from the hotel. We could reach most of the sightseeing spots with one or no transit (incl. Versailles). Quadruple room could fit four of us including two teenagers (two of us slept on a sofabed, though). Internet access fee (WiFi) was 15 Euros for the entire stay. The elevator is very small, could fit just two of us with suitcases. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English well. Recommended for a family with kids.

Very Pleasant Hotel
The Harvey is nicely located, especially for proximity to the Palais Congres, Champs Elysees, and transportation routes. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable in a utilitarian way, not plush, and are well maintained. i would have liked to have an iron and ironing board, however.

Simple and basic, but not bad.
The website makes the hotel look more impressive than it is, but it was comfortable and friendly. It is a very simply furnished hotel room. The air conditioning was fantastic - cooling the room in very little time. Location didnt seem exactly as depicted on the website, but not bad, relatively close to the Argentine Metro stop. No ice or porter service available. There is an elevator, but it stops at the landing between floors, so carrying luggage is necessary. Staffs English was mixed - some very fluent, some not at all. We ordered an early morning taxi the previous night and it arrived right on time.

If we ever return to Paris we will stay here again.
Close to Metro and light rail, End of Champs Elysees, Walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, Staff friendly and helpful, All spoke excellent English and tolerated my bad French with good humor. Hotel does have towels. The Batch does not have a shower curtain, but the shower was good and we never ran out of hot water, which was a problem at the other hotel our group used. Did not try the 11 Euro Breakfast, there is a small convenience cafe in the light rail station which had croisants and sandwiches.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Reccomend getting the all in one metro/bus pass. Makes getting around Paris easy without the stress of worrying about the cost of each ride.
