For Parents with small children
Give up those thoughts of a luxury resort, youll be too exhausted taking care of the kids to enjoy it! We had a great time at FD Resort, we hired a second nanny for our 9 month old for $20 a day! Kadian our nanny for our 3 year was kept busy running around all day. We slept in a hammock in the afternoons, need I say more!

Totally Disappointed
My husband and I heard a lot about FDR. It was even a prize given to contestants on "Live with Regis and Kelly", it included a nanny so we thought, "why not". As soon as we pulled into the driveway we knew why not. The sign was our first give-a-way--practically hand-written. The "reception area" consisted of a small desk outside with two chairs. The surrounding area was overgrown and dirty with nannys and babies all around. The pool was dirty and the beach was a small crescent shaped water hole. We were told that that wasnt the beach, it was actually around the corner. Well, around the corner was a Beaches/Breezes hotel. When the water was low, you were permitted to use it but when the water came up it was private property. What beach?? We asked the front desk to use the phone to find another hotel and we were informed we couldnt use it. We asked for the manager and told him how we felt. We didnt even check in. We left and found another hotel. Thank God for The Ritz!

Needs renovating and Room Service!
Nanny was great, however, the hotel needs renovations and it needs room service. If it rains, as it usually does, it becomes increasingly difficult to get a meal , espcially with children.
Nanny was great!
