poor management attitude
We were in Ireland at the end of June, and the weather was considerably warm. We are a family of 4 and had 2 adjoining rooms. In both rooms, the air conditioners were broken and when we turned them on, they blew hot air instead of cold. When we called the management, they did not hide their annoyance. They admitted that they knew the air conditioners did not work, and felt we should not have a problem with that. We did get new rooms (very far apart from our daughters) and no apology. Any time we stopped at the desk for directions or questions, they could not be bothered. While it is a beautiful old hotel and very convenient to everything, I would not stay there again.

Good location but old hotel
If you want to be North of Liffey, this is a good location. And the prices are more reasonable than on the southern side. But it is an old hotel and any renovations have not really made it seem very modern. In fact, the room we had was dingy and not so clean and the bathroom seemed so small. And a pretty ugly view of rooftops.

The Gresham Hotel
Great hotel - nice and clean. The staff were all friendly. Room did get a little warm so staff very quickly brought a fan. Bed was a little harder than I like but overall I really enjoyed the 12 day stay. Fantastic location -walking distance to many things in town.
