Fantastic Views and Facilities
When you arrive by train in Vevay, take Bus No. 1 to the funicular at the end of its circuit. The hotel is just up the mountain to the left at the Mont Pelerin stop. It has everything you desire -- including a helicopter pad, spa, first class fitness center, pool, 3 resturants and spacious rooms with a view. It is not inexpensive, but is exceptional.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
There are hiking trails and views of the mountains, lake and Vevay/Montreux area that are exceptional. If you buy a Swiss rail pass in the US, it works on the buses and the lake boats as well as the train. Vist Montreau and Chillon castle by boat.
