Won’t stay again

They advertise "pet friendly." Nowhere does it tell you that it costs $15 for your pet. Not even on the signs hanging in the casino. Then you’re room is the furthest distance from the casino floor. They’re big sign advertises for a prime rib dinner only to find out that it’s over at the Primm. I recently had back surgery and still have a hard time walking long distances. I ask if I could get a room closer to the casino floor and the response was negative. Because I had a 4lb pet with me. Both these problems will make me never want to stay there again. One good thing, I didn’t loose any money because I didn’t go the the gaming floor.

The hotel was clean and was the correct distance to stop on our way to Utah.

hotel is old, smelly, had no trash can in hotel room, not enough towels, shower was old, need remodeling, rooms is not clean, very dirty, not sterilized at all. Covers, sheets not clean. carpet was not properly vacuumed. terrible. the price was reasonable.

Hotel saves you money, but quality of room is poor

The hotel rooms are better than what you would expect from stateline hotels, but in general it is just average. This is the second time we stayed there because it is convenient for us. Both times were pleasant.

Primm Nevada, The place to stay

Very clean and nice hotel. We were happy with the room and the restaurants. It is also nice to be able to take the train/tram to the other hotels and outlet mall.

And you can’t beat the price. For how much you pay, this is a great place to say. Mostly it’s just a nice place to stop off at and take a break from a long drive in to Vegas from Los Angeles. The tables have low limits, the food is very inexpensive at the Mega restaurant, the rooms are clean (but old), and the deals at the outlets are spectacular. If you’re on a tight budget, this place has a lot to offer. Don’t forget to try the roller coaster. It’s one of the best I’ve ever been on and I’ve been on a lot of roller coasters. Cheers and enjoy!

Be sure to stop off here if driving in to Las Vegas. You’ll find many great deals at the outlets in the mall.

40-min wait at check-in even with only 5 people in line

Got to hotel Thursday night 11pm. One clerk at the chech-in counter and 5 guests in line to check in. Clerk took 10 minutes to check in each group. Got key to the room that did not work. Got back down to tell clerk door lock was not reading the key. She sent us back up to try again, still did not work. Had to go back to her a second time to get a different room. Got in our room at mid-night.

Good location

A good location for our trip for a good price. The bed was a bit uncomfortable because they use a plastic pad and the bottom sheet doesn’t stay tucked in. Large room, easy to park.

disappointing stay

we stayed at whiskey pete’s as a via point to Calif. Our main reason for choosing hotel was we have to young kids and hotel has nice pool with waterslide. Waterslide was closed for repairs which we understand have not yet begun and it’s been many months! We chose a different hotel to stay on our return from Calif.

Not if you have children

The people at the reception desk were not very friendly. They were all business, which is fine, but they didn’t smile and didn’t seem to care if my son and I knew how to get to our room. Also, I don’t understand why the hotel with the best swimming pool, the one with the slide, was only open on weekends. Children come to the hotel on weekdays also. Whats the deal?

Whiskey Pete’s

As the saying goes "You get what you pay for". After the call to get batteries in the remote and the standard soaps etc. it was a bargain. The pool was nice and had a great dinner at their restaurant, room was clean.

We will stay again

We had tickets for Sugarland, but the concert was cancelled. Whiskey’s Petes put on a free concert of "Country Ledgends" for the people that had tickets to Sugarland. That was a very nice thing to do. We enjoyed the show. We will stay at Whiskey’s Petes when the Sugarland comes again.

comfortable and inexpensive

I’ve stayed at the Whiskey Pete’s Hotel in the past. Accomodations are clean and comfortable. Can’t beat the price! The only thing we were disapponted with was the fact that the Water Slide in the swimming pool area was not in service. Our kids were looking forward to it, and we were disappointed to find out that it was not working. Other than that, I would stay there again in the future.

Definitely try out the Roller Coaster at Buffalo Bills. Also, I had good luck gambling at the blackjack tables at Whiskey Petes! The dealers are all very friendly there!

Not impressed at all

This Hotel was my favorite place to stay at. however over the last few months or years the service has gotten bad. I called main to bring me a coffee pot cause the room did not have one. when the lady got there and put it in the bathroom. I told her that I did not have an alarm clock and it seemed that she got like really bother. she told me that I had to call again that she couldnt help me. in the room there was one chair missing, the alarm clock, and the coffee pot. over all every time that I get to go I always try and clean up after my self. so i know that the room isnt that diry when we leave. I believe that if you put a small Mexican food restaurant it would be a really good business. To have like soups, meat ball soup, chicken soup, etc oh and some tacos. And lets not forget some really good Menudo.
