There is better...
Check-in service was friendly and helpful. Over-all the motel could be "freshened". It was a little dingy! Room was absolute minimum size. There was almost no room to set things down. There was considerable highway noise. I finished shaving with the hot water running, before the water got warm enough to wash in. It never got hot. The refrigerator defrosted during the night and soaked the carpet with cold water. Breakfast counter not well organized but was immaculately clean and well attended - equipment worked very well. Check-out person did not seem to care if I was leaving or not - did not offer a receipt. While checking in, the clerk quoted a price over the phone that was lower than I paid.

The restaurants near this motel are of equally poor quality. Better food and service can be found about a half mile away.
