Grossed out, so I checked out.
Basically, if you enjoy dirty hotels with itchy bedding, stained shower curtains, and 18th century AC/heating units, than this is the place for you. I was originally booked for 2 nights at this hotel, but checked out after the first night because I didn’t get an ounce of sleep on the stiff bed and prickly sheets. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot, nor did I feel any cleaner after taking a shower. Of course the nightly rate was affordable, but I definitely got what I paid for... I’ve lived in tents on the coast of Ecuador for about a month, so I know how to "rough it." But, this hotel was a below "western" par for me.

The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke there were no wash cloths in the room
