Excellent Option, Plan to Stay Again
I’ve stayed at this property twice and certainly intend on returning. One can often book rooms here well below market rate, especially with air+hotel deals. The staff is always courteous and accommodating, but at certain hours you’ll have to be patient to have requests satisfied. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed, and far more stylish (simple sophisticated understated) than any other HIE i’ve seen and many hotels that are twice the price. I recommend the King Suite with the separate bedroom for peace and privacy. It comes with a fridge and microwave so keeping water, juices, snacks, leftovers, etc. will help contain the trip cost. Every type of restaurant, big-box/specialty store, service, entertainment is just a couple miles down the road in nearly every direction. Driving downtown to Chicago takes 30-60 minutes, traffic/destination depending. Have a safe trip and enjoy the journey!!!

The pool needs some cleaning
The rooms are clean enough and comfortable. The pool area, especially the jacuzzi were not clean. You could see a lot of floating things. So the relaxing experience in the pool was not exactly relaxing.
