Like Colorado
The hotel is very much like the ski lodges in Aspen and Vail and was very confortable. We stayed there Oct. 1-4, and it snowed in town for only the second time in the season! The trip to Milford Sound is well worth the time it takes and is spectacular! We went the first day of our stay and were glad we did, as the following day the trip was cancelled due to the snow.

Queenstown is much like other ski towns, full of places to eat, drink, and shop. Ferburgers is a great place to grab a burger at a reasonalbe price, and is where the locals eat!

Worth the upgrade to deluxe lake view room! Waking up every morning to one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen.
