Great views and location
This hotel is situated within walking distance to all the major sites in Heraklion(archeological museum about a 5 minute walk- do not miss, although museum is under renovation and some of frescoes not on display). You must get a room overlooking Venetian harbor. With a glass of ouzo, a piece of feta cheese, sitting on your balcony is a world class event. The rooms are on the small size, pretty typical for this part of the world. Free internet access!!

Good ’transition’ hotel
Served my purpose well, as a hotel to stay in for one night on my way to a destination in Crete, and again for one night on the way out, as it is convenient to the airport, although it is in the city. It’s in the heart of Iraklion, and a very nice place to stay, as it is clean, the staff are excellent and it has everything you need on site. Herb’s Garden restaurant on the rooftop is excellent, and the Spa on the hotel’s lower level is a wonderful place to get a massage, enjoy the Jacuzzi or to get a manicure and pedicure. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly, courteous and professional.

Lato Boutique Hotel is near Iraklion’s port, so it’s easy to get to ferries and buses, as well as the airport. It’s also an easy walk to the main shopping streets and the city’s major attractions.

Great location, and excellent view of harbor from room. Reception desk staff quite professional and helpful.

The hotel is within a few blocks of a main pedestrian street. While there are many restaurant choices on this street, there are others of higher quality and value for money on the many side streets. It can be rewarding to search and stumble across a jewel.
