Top Hotel to stay in Kyoto
This hotel is the place for travelers who want class and top quality of services and they shall get it there. Their staff did an impeccable job of providing services to hotel guests.

decent value for a hotel in Japan
Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay. Just felt the beds were to hard to sleep comfortably.

Vastly overpriced
This was a very ordinary hotel for a very enhanced price. The room was rather small and the amenities were nothing exceptional. The only exceptional thing about it was the price.

VP Sales & Marketing
Compared to the New Miyako Hotel across from Kyoto station, where I had stayed in the past, this hotel is much nicer at an equal price.

Reasonable and Reliable Hotel
Rooms are comfortable and clean, good for a short stay in Kyoto. Excellent restaurants in the Hotel including a great Chinese restaurant. Very close to the Kyoto train station, and a major Kyoto Temple, but not close to convenient shopping. An excellent and reasonable stay.

Good Home Base.
Great location. Easy access to JR Station adn Gion. Great Royal Host Resturant across the street (traffic light at hotel entance). Taxi always available. Airport limo service to Itami A/P Osaka across the street for early morning departures, othrwise easy taxi to station depot.

Gion, Kyoto Castle, More Shrines and Temples close by.

Good basic accomodations
The hotel was available when most others weren’t, but that was based on sheer size as it seemed pretty full once we arrived. It’s in a great location for exploring the city - in between Kyoto Station & the downtown nightlife. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for basic western accommodation while in Kyoto!
