Very Comfortable

As a female traveling alone I felt very comfortable in this hotel. Be sure to check with the hotel to understand what the facility hours are if you are interested in using the pool or business club. I got in late, so had limited time and the pool was not open. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful in the hotel restaurant.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Take advantage of shuttle by going to hotel office at the airport and requesting. Although previous traveler’s have suggested a short walk there is too much construction for this to be practical.

Great Loc ation and Service

I have stayed here a number of times and most recently spend a number of weeks at this hotel using the Expedia Best Rate which the Hotel itself cannot match!!! The staff are very courteous and helpful from the Greeter at the Door to the excellent Lobby Cafe wait staff. There are a number of good restaurants in the Hotel from the Excellent Rodeo Steakhouse to the Thai and Lebanese restaurants and it even boasts a Benihana if you are in the mood to be entertained. There is an excellent Bodylines Gym and an outdoor pool if you can handle the Dubai summer heat. The Hotel is so close to the Airport that it is an excellent choice for a traveler over-nighting in Dubai while waiting for a connection. It is close to the old Dubai and close to the new Dubai and Festival City Malls so shopping is a breeze! I will stay there again when I go back!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

There are a number of excellent dining and entertainment choices to be had close by. The Aviation Club is a short cab ride or a five minute walk away. The Club boasts a collection of restaurants from the Irish Village Pub to Asian, European and Middle Eastern. The Meridian Village is practically next door and has excellent Japanese, Italian and Asian restaurants as well as The Dubliner’s Irish Pub with excellent food and Great Guinness!

Great Hotel for short transfer flights through DXB

I frequently use this hotel for my short transfers in Dubai, and would advise anyone with similar cases to this hotel.

Excellent, excellent, excellent

I stayed at the Al Bustan Rotana recently and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. The staff is excellent, the facilities are very nice. My room was extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The internet was easy to connect to and the connection speed was very good. I had a chance to relax in the pool, steam room and sauna; they were all very well-maintained. I even got an excellent massage while I was there.

I usually watch the prices on Expedia or other sites when I’m planning a stay in Dubai...my stay at the Al Bustan Rotana was very inexpensive this time.

Fully satisfactory in most respects, with one irritant

Have been staying here for over 10 years and continue to be comfortable and satisfied. Nice selection of restaurants, perhaps the best in Dubai. The location is easy to come and go from to all destinations and it’s very close to the airport. My one irritant this time was that the desk phone and internet cords are both very short and close together, so you have to put your laptop in front of the phone and then struggle to get to the phone when needed.

Great rooms, right next to the airport, good restaurants and if you want more choices Le Meridien is right next door. Be aware room rates can vary in price significantly -- my room was over $100 more expensive just two weeks after I stayed there -- so shop smart.

Great hotel!

It was my first time staying at this hotel, and i have decided not to stay anywhere else in the future. Room’s condition is mint, very clean, very friendly staff. If you like to go to a nice Arabic restaurant with a great atmosphere one night then they have the best in town, Mawwal, with a belly dancer and great food, but you need to book ahead of time. Try their club sandwich, it’s so good and the cheapest on the menu too. This hotel is located near the airport, if you have a way of commuting then it’s great, if not then it’s a little far from all the fun spots

Mina el Salam at Al Jumaira, try Bahari bar with a great view of burj el arab and a very romantic atmosphere. Buy your own liqor, Dubai’s duty free has the cheapest prices for liqor, it’s really expensive to drink in bars!!

Good for leasure small swimming pool but few people sop nice and cozy. Good food in various restaurants with excellent service.Only bad point computer connection very expensive.

My hotel in Dubai

I realy felt this hotel was extremely wonderful and what stood out was how homely and personal my room felt. It did no feel like a hotel, it felt very personal. Very good location nice and quiet close to a grocery store. They provided a personal car to take me to the airport free of charge and extended my check out time by 3hours.This is where I’ll be staying whenever I’m in Dubai and would strongly recommend it.

There’s a grocery store within working distance, I recommend you pick up a few things to snack on. Don’t eat out of the Mini bar very expensive. Buy your wine at the duty free before leaving the airport. You would not be able to purchase that outside. I recommend you try the buffet at the blue Elephant during your stay, they have the best Thai food. Do not use the limo service at the hotel it’s twice the price of a local taxi. Get the porter to get you a local taxi much cheaper.

I only wish it had beed on the beach

The best service was to give me no service when I was asleep in the day time. Other hotels will call you and then still knock on your door to force you to get "room service" cleaning. This hotel left me alone and just left me extra towels on my door. Also there was a very private dining room on the same floor as my room. The food was incredible!
