WELL WORTH THE VALUE!!!
The hotel staff was extremely helpful with pointing out local restaurants and sites to see. They were able to sell us tickets to the "Hop On/Hop Off" bus which tours the entire city of Budapest (this is well worth the value!). They also spoke very good English as well as did many others in Budapest at the sites we visited. The rooms were clean, comfortable and adequate sized. Our room had a view of the Danube River and Chain Bridge. Would definitely go back to Budapest and would choose this hotel again!!!

Modern hotel on the Danube in Budapest
This was our third stay at the Artotel in Budapest. The hotel is very modern and nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is on the Buda side, with a great view of Parliament and an easy walk across the Chain Bridge to Pest. Our room was large, as was the bathroom. It overlooked the Danube plus there was access to the cafes and sights of Buda! There is a business center and bar. Breakfast is not included but the hotel offers a good breakfast buffet.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Budapest is very romantic and friendly. Be sure to visit the Public Market for gift items. Andrassy Ut is a great street for walking and many cafes are located on the side streets. Go see the Tokaj region - we call it the Napa Valley of Hungary. I have family in Tolscva and Saraspatok - both lovely areas where you can tour wine cellars and explore local cuisine. Only challenge is that not many Hungarians speak English fluently when youre outside the large cities.

Fantastic!
This is a very nice hotel, very contemporary, very clean, and in a good location for public transportation. There are good restaurants close by. It has great views of Castle District, Chain Bridge and Parliament. We would definitely stay here again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The spa at the Grand Hotel on Margaret Island was quite nice and reasonably priced.
