Good value when staying in Portland ME
The Fairfield Inn in Scarborough, ME was a very good value in the Portland, ME area (where hotels seem to be fairly expensive). It provided all the basic amenities (although the pool closes right before Labor Day). The only thing that was missing was any sort of exercise equipment. The breakfast was fresh, clean and convenient. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better.

Finding the hotel is difficult at night because the sign is not lit and the hotel is a little off the main street.

I really liked the hotel.
I thought the staff was really friendly. They answered questions with knowledge. If I go back to Maine I will stay at this hotel again.
