Would love to go back.
A very nice hotel. I generally don’t like hotel soap, but the small bars of Marie Danielle soap, made in Italy, were wonderful! All hotel staff friendly and courteous. A great area (the Navigli) in which to stay. Wish we could have stayed there longer. Close to the green line (subway) which is a great way to get around. GREAT time!!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take the Malpensa Express (rail) to and from airport. The green line from there puts you within two blocks walk of the hotel (Porto Genova).

Try restaurant 10 m from the hotel, even with suspicion the hotel gets the commission. Surprisingly the restaurant is very cozy and friendly, the food is tasty.

Disappointed
The staff was unfriendly, they kept talking on the phone even though they saw us waiting at the front desk. The room was a kind of old-fashioned. The bath room was clean but there was not enough space to put the things on. The location was good though, there were many restaurants and shops nearby, just 5 minutes to the subway station.
