The hotel accomodations were great. The room was extremely comfortable. Would definetly go back and would recommend to anyone in the area for a short stay. Nice resturants in the vicinity. If R&R are your main goal, this fits the bill.

Good Value - if some improvements are made
Overall, the hotel is nice and the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful, but I do have some complaints. I stayed at the hotel for two nights in an executive-level suite. When I came back to my room around midnight on the second night after being out all day, the room had not been cleaned. The person at the front desk could not connect me to the manager, since he/she was gone for the evening, but offered to have the room cleaned first thing in the morning. As I would be leaving in the morning, I found this unacceptable and asked for a new room. My request was accommodated. In addition, the lighting in the suites was harsh, not soft and warm, which made me opt for natural light during the day when I was in the room. At night, I had no choice, but the lighting did bother me - all of the lighting was like the flourescent lighting in my office. I assume this is based on the assumption that business travelers need such light, but I would prefer at least some lighting that was not so harsh in order to relax. I did appreciate the fact that I was given coupons for cocktails and the breakfast buffet. However, when I went to the buffet, none of the tables had been cleaned. I asked one of the staff members to have this done, but it was not done while I was there. I sat at a dirty table and ate my breakfast. So, as you can see, it wasnt a perfect stay, but the rate was good (especially for a top-level room) and with some improvement, I think the hotel is a good value.
