Albergo Cesari in Roma

The hotel was small and quaint. The room was small, as is commonly found in Rome. The hotel was very well located within close distance to the Pantheon and other popular sights. We felt very safe and welcomed there. A nice continental breakfast (which was included) was served on the roof in a very nice setting with a good view of the Rome rooftops.

Helpful staff, nice rooms and close to just about everything!

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel on our first trip to Rome and were very pleased. The front desk was extremely helpful in getting us information about getting around. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, typical light fare served on the beautiful roof top terrace. It is located very close to the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain.

Pleasantly Surprised!

This was my first trip to Rome so a lot of research was done prior to my travel. I read a lot of reviews for this hotel and hoped for the best! I was pleasantly surprised! The Hotel was easy to find by the taxi driver (we showed him the google map printout). The room was just as I expected it to be from the reviews. Our room was big enough to host three single beds and had enough walking room that two adults and one child would be comfortable in. We did not spend much leisure time in the room. It was clean, AC was great for July heat and satellite TV (for news) was convenient. The location was great. Easy walking distance to some of the major sites, but if you and your party enjoys walking then, it is walking distance to most sites. However, this hotel review is mostly to commend the wonderful staff. They are courteous and very helpful. On my trip home, I arranged for their transportation to the airport. I was quoted a price by a front desk person the evening before. However, when I got to the Airport, the driver expected a different payment (because it was before 7am). A quick call to the front desk (now the morning person) and all was resolved quickly. They could have been rude and persistent in giving me a hard time but they acknowledged the miscommunication and everything was settled calmly and hassle free.

Watch out for the vendors walking around selling annoying, cheap toys. They will come up to your child (not the adult) and let them hold or try the toy. Once your child touches the item, they will be relentless on demanding payment.
