Good hotel
We were just here for one night on our way to catch the train, but we thought the hotel was comfortable and adequate. The area around the hotel is rather dull, but functions as a great overnight place due to its proximity to the metro. The staff were extremely helpful with directions and the breakfast was great.

Nice hotel ...not so nice area.
Nice hotel on the edgee of Milan’s downtown. Close to the bus line. Not to good to waunder out after dark to stroll to dinner.

Rude Staff/ Dangerous Neighborhood
While the room and hotel are extraordinarily clean, there are two problems. First off the neigborhood feels fine - if you go directly to your hotel - walk one block out of the way - or look for a pizzeria for example and you will find that the neighborhood is very very seedy and feels unsafe. one block is not a big buffer zone. This will also explain why there is only one pizzeria or restaurant in the area in existence - it is not just residential it has an unsafe feel. Staff is very very rude. you will know who the owner is because he is most rude. they prefered not to be bothered when you knock on the door (door remains locked much of the evening through the morning for security) so they take their time getting back. Also, try not to ask them any question - they prefer not to be bothered. When i arrived to check in the owner continued to complete his paragraph on the computer before he even acknowledged me - this was before he even knew whether I had a reservation.
