Champagne on a beer budget
I booked 4 rooms for one night so I wanted a clean, affordable hotel/motel without being too picky. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were spacious, very clean, and furnishings/bedding/linens appeared relatively new. No problems with the amenities.

Kind of out of date.
Air conditioner did not work. Had to call twice to get someone to check it and switch us to another room. Restaurant was fair, full of unruly, noisy children and parents who ignored them.

Older hotel but well-maintained
This is an older property but is very comfortable rooms with quality linens, beds, etc. It is far enough off the highway that it is not a motel frequented by passers through and truckers. There are rooms that open to the parking area or rooms accessed through interior hallways. Check in and continental breakfast were efficient and satisfying before launching off on a day of travel.
