Real Alaskans don’t need internet?
The hotel is probably the best in Sitka and has a great restaurant. The rooms a clean and well maintained. The only drawback is their medieval Wi-Fi. I think it consists of a single wireless router in the manager’s office since the signal is abysmal above the second floor and very far from the lobby. If you can’t connect, they will give you an in-room modem to use (how quaint) for a $250 deposit.

The bed was not very comfortable, otherwise we had great service.
The check in was fast and the check out took only a minute. Hotel staff is very efficient.
