Typical Marriot Stay
Usual Marriot experience. Top Notch. Just knwo where you are and where you are goign when leaving the Airport location. As with any large town, you can find yourself in a neighborhood you dont want to be in. Also, if you are not familiar, the tool booths are in dollars, not quarters. Be prepared to spend $20.00 per day taking the tolls from Newark to New York. If your car rental company offers the one time EZ Pass charge of $8.00, take it.

Satisfactory room. Very nice looking lobby and convention rooms
A few random hairs in clean towels, in sheets. mattress pads, sheets seemed to be to small for beds. various guests room service dishes seemed to stay in the hall for a long time.

We Froze!
Despite the fact that there are thermostats in each room, you cannot necessarily control the temperature in the room. We kept upping the temperature, but the heat never came on. The explanation "Not enough rooms requested heat and we cannot turn it on for a couple to rooms." No wonder they put 2 blankets, a throw and a quilt on the beds!

Great Stay
Stayed here for a short vacay. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Great shuttle drivers. I actually accidentally left my brand-new MAC laptop on a shuttle without even realizing it. I reached my room, and received a phone call not long after from the front desk. The shuttle driver remembered me and dropped my computer off to the front desk, who remembered me, and they instantly called me and returned my computer. If that isn’t excellent service, I don’t know what is. Besides that, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was neat and clean, and everything was perfect for my romantic getaway. Thanks a million for a wonderful trip, Marriott! I’ll definitely stay here again!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The PATH train is the best way to get to and from NYC from the hotel. Take the shuttle to the airport and hop on the bus going to Penn Station ($1.35). From Penn Station, you can take the PATH train into NYC ($1.75) (best stop is World Trade Center) and from there, hop on a train to anywhere. This saves you about 10 bucks per person when going into the city.

Great location
I arrived late Friday and left early Sunday. The location was perfect and the shuttle to the airport was fast. I will stay here again.

For an airport hotel this was fine
The shuttle service from the airport was REALLY slow but once we got there the service was fine. The italian restaurant in the hotel was ok but very pricey for the value, so if you’re planning on eating there factor this into your price.

GREAT HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION
Needed hotel that was located close enough to the terminals so that I could comfortably make a 6:00 AM Flight. The Marrott fit the bill. Also, a great pool on a very warm day.

Best Newark Airport Choice
Having stayed in a number of Newark Airport hotels, I would say this is the best. It is the closest and doesn’t require you to go down to the special shuttle area. The shuttle comes directly to the terminal. Our bus driver was pleasant and gave us cold bottled water which we really enjoyed. The gym was great too. The bedroom had a soft clean feather bed and duvet.

Late night check-in at the Neweark Airport Marriott
A great place to stay for an airport layover or late night flight. Night manager was very friendly and helpful when we arrived at 2am, including delivering extra pillows to our room himself. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again!!

Great Hotel
My experience at this hotel was great except for the addition fees my family had to pay for parking on the property. I was unaware of these fee prior to check-in.

The bar prices were way over the top.
We had to stay over night because of connections from Europe, and we went to the bar at 8 pm Florida time / 2 am london time and wanted to drink 2 quick ones to sent our selves to sleep for a 4:30 am wake up. The bar bill was 24$ for 1 beer and a double vodka.I’ll buy vodka in England the next time out and pour my own.

Wonderful place to stay for people flying in and out of the Newark Airport. It’s right there! Convenient shuttle to airport, hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was helpful and efficient. 10 stars!

A welcome layover returning from Europe
After Europe, the king size bed was most welcome, extremely comfortable. The bar has a nice atmosphere, with same menu as the restaurant, good food. Good old-fashioned service with humor.

This hotel was extremely pleasant to stay at. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the room was as close to home as you can get. Loved it!

Nice facilities, excelent transportation options
-- Full breakfast option is a very good deal. -- Efficient shuttle transportation to and from the hotel, airport, monorail/train station to NYC. -- Hotel’s personnel was corteous and helpful at all times. -- Clean rooms, they "do not smell". -- Good security. You feel safe. -- Temperature inside my room was warm and I was not able to set the air conditioned to a comfort temperature. -- Beds are too soft and sort of uncomfortable.

short and sweet
We were only in the room from 10 pm until 5 am. It was fine, and very convenient to pick our daughter up at the airport in the evening and leave on an early morning flight. Only complaint was that one of the glasses on the counter looked as if it had been used.

Much better than expected
This hotel was much better than we had expected. Quite frankly I was thinking a hotel by the airport would be loud, dirty and dated - the complete opposite was true. The woman at the front desk was a delight. She gave us all kinds of good information and made us feel so welcome. The room was spotless and totally silent. Zero noise from the hundreds of planes buzzing about, outside. We ate at the bar and the food was very good. A bit pricey but hey this is the New York Metro area! We only live 1.5 hours away but we have a yound child and felt it would be so much easier to make our 8:45am flight if we stayed there. It was a great decision. We will deffinitely stay there again. Enjoy.

This hotel has a spectacular work out room with TV’s in every treadmill, oliptical, etc. Bring your work out clothes!

My Favorite Newark Airport Hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at this hotel. It made for the perfect night before and after a long flight to the Carribean.
