Easy to get to with public transportation
This is a very nice hotel located north of the city center. It is easy to get to using public transport; the S-bahn from the airport, the U-bahn, then bus 123. The hotel has a big indoor pool, and a sauna. There was also free internet in a room off the lobby (get password from registration desk).

Nice Hotel But Missing Some Creature Comforts.
This is a very clean hotel and the people there were very friendly. My only real complaints are relatively small. The room did not have an iron and ironing board placed somewhere in the room so I could straighten out my clothes when needed. The room did have an ironing gizmo to straighten slacks only. Television was somewhat outdated, kind of small and not a flat screen. Also a missing feature that I would of liked would have been a small permanent room safe which would have been greatly appreciated especially useful when youre carrying important travel documents that you dont want to be carry around with you all of the time. Floors did not have any vending machines for those late night cravings though the hotel does supply a small refriderator with snacks and various drinks. A vending machine would have given a lot more variety. If not for these little things I would have given 5 stars.
The ubahn (underground subway) is about a 15 minute walk away. Get the city tour pass which costs 29 Euros. The city pass is good to travel in all of Munichs subway systems for three days and for up to 4 people I believe. I was going to get a rental car, but you really dont need one. Munichs subway system is second to none and if you miss one subway train the next one is only a couple of minutes. Be prepared to pay between 47 and 55 Euros for a taxis ride to or from the airport to this hotel.

Great hotel
This is a very comfortable hotel. There are 2 issues that might figure into your decision to stay. Its location is far from the train station resulting in a high cab fare. Although the breakfast is excellent, the price is ridiculous. However, everything else is great and they have air conditioning!
