Nice hotel away from city center
Overall enjoyed our stay at the Dorint while in Prague with my wife and two kids (ages 9 and 11) for 3 days. Convenient to the Metro. Our family suite was large and quiet, but had a view of the atrium. The hotel restaurants are good, but pricey. The front desk staff are mostly helpful; had an occasional bad experience with waiting to be served while staff were clearly talking to themselves/laughing/not working. (Not too uncommon in Europe, though, unfortunately). If you want a convenient, quiet location to stay with your family, away from the touristy areas of Prague, this is a great hotel.

Try something else
This hotel definitely needs new management. You get your room and a bed, but otherwise just about everything goes wrong here. Unprofessional staff at the reception, poor a/c, locked windows, partially functional wellness, cleaning ladies walking in while DO NOT DISTURB label is hanging on your door and, on top of everything: we were requested to change table at breakfast as the one we chose was ’reserved for the manager’.

Good Prague hotel
Business style hotel, great for families, just steps from the Metro. 5 stops to city center. Not for those who want a hotel in the city center but very comfortable with a good breakfast and a good value. Plus complimentary stuffed bears for the kids!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Museum of Communism is worth a stop for history buffs. Just steps away from Wenceslas Square.
