Skip it
I wish I had read some of the reviews here before booking my stay. Rooms were musty smelling even after they switched my room twice. I suspect that alot of these rooms had been flooded by a storm. Since I had been driving 10 hours I was just looking for a clean room to stay. There were roaches in the first room and people congregated outside my room because entry was by outside corridor. I HIGHLY recommend to people to choose a hotel with an inside corridor to your room. I learned my lesson with this room. Some of the other La Quinta’s have this and I assumed this one did too.
Traveler's tip on dining
I made the misfortune of walking to the Denny’s adjacent to the property. Even the restaurant itself reeked of mold, mildew and believe it or not urine. Pick a different hotel people.

Good Location
This hotel is very close to the Pensacola airport which made it covienent for our stay.

Probably wouldn’t stay here again
First of all, I didn’t expect a five star hotel. However - The room smelled very musty. The only way to get rid of the smell was to turn the air on high which then made the room way too cold. The beds were very uncomfortable. They were very low - without box springs, but not on a platform, so there was little support. The rugs felt dirty. Also, if seemed as if there were at lot of young people living at this hotel - always outside leaning against the railing, smoking. Luckily, we were at my son’s college orientation and weren’t in the room very much.
