Looks like they’re ready to tear the place down
We were just looking for an inexpensive hotel on the beach - didn’t have to be fancy. But this Super 8 was beyond bad. The restaurant was closed down and boarded up, the building hasn’t been maintained in years, and the staff could barely speak English. The room itself was ok, once we got inside - not great, but servicable. And the beach is actually quite nice, right behind the back parking lot. If we hadn’t pre-paid for the room on Expedia, we would have kept driving. There were plenty of motels in the area which looked much nicer, for the same price.

Checked into someone elses room
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone during the ’off season’. I assume its a nice place when there are a lot of people around however during the off season it seems the employees become lax in cleanliness and desk duties. I was checked into a room with other people already inside. When I went to the desk I was not even offered a ’sorry’ sort of ’oh well it happens’ I found the desk to be incredibly ignorant. Sort of sets the tone of what to expect when booking this hotel....
