The Rose Hotel lived up to my expectation of a 3-star hotel!
The hotel staff was attentive and courteous. I was always personally greeted upon entry or exit by the lobby staff each day of my stay. Upon checking-in, I was helped with my baggage and was personally escorted to my room. The room was always clean and well kept. The hotel has two connected restaurants. The Milly La Foret restaurant serves an excellent breakfast buffet that caters to all tastes. The buffet is a bit pricey; so one might not be able to have breakfast there every morning. The hotel is located just a three minute walk to Minato-Mirai metro line; so quickly getting to the convention centre is fast and convenient. I was positively impressed by the fact that Guest Relation Manager, after my departure, was able to track me down in Tokyo and was willing to rush to me an article of clothing that I had left in my room. That is service! In conclusion, I have had the opportunity to stay in many fine hotels, the Rose Hotel lives up to its advertised amenities and conforms to my expectation of an excellent 3-star hotel.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take the metro instead of a taxi! Although using the Japanese metro and trains lines may seem intimidating, it is well worth the effort in cost savings to learn where they go and how to use the system.
