Suburban Comfort & Easy Access
The hotel is well maintained, the staff was friendly (in that Midwest fashion that might be considered intrusive if you’re typically an upscale traveler), the location was immediately off of the highway’s exit, and the price was right. My trip was hurriedly planned for an unexpected family event and I ended up hosting a small group at the hotel’s brightly-lit and relatively small lobby bar. We were comfortable, the libations of the standard variety, and the hot "small plates" adequate. I will say that the hotel was hosting a wedding reception at the same time and there was good separation from the private banqueting facilities from the public ones. The rooms were quiet, well appointed and even though close to the freeway, set back far enough that road noise was not bothersome. I’d stay again.
Turn right on SOM Center (the highway) and you’ll find a supermarket not too far (a couple of miles) down the road on the left (Giant Eagle).... there is a bagel chain (Bruegger’s) on the right side of the road a little further on - get one toasted with butter and/or cream cheese!

Friendly, Professional & Helpful
Hotel was quite well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The only thing that surprized me was a low number of free tv stations available - but, not really THAT important, now is it? Overall, an excellent value.

Okay.. not nice for a wedding
The stay at this hotel was fine. The lady at check in and check out was very friendly. The only issue we experienced was at the wedding reception that we attended. The majority of the ancillary staff serving at the reception were rude and unfriendly. We were very disapponted in the way guests were treated at the wedding reception. Not sure if we’d ever stay again or recommend this facility for a wedding or big affair. The staff definitely needed an attitude adjustment.
