Christchurch’s Leading Value Hotel
With center-city location, the Christchurch Crowne Plaza is a comfortable, enjoyable, in all a great-value hotel. It’s what you would expect from Crowne Plaza. It’s restaurants are among the best, enjoyed by locals as well as travelers. Staying a few days is easy. And memorable.

mediocre
This hotel needs a complete overhaul. The decor is outmoded and unattractive, the rooms are dowdy and could be much more comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the Japanese restaurant.

Great location
Great location. Park located behind hotel with access to a walking trail along the river. Four restaurants located within the hotel with several more within walking distance. Arts center is a nice attraction to visit with several shops, outdoor cafes, theatre and was built on a former university campus. Botanical gardens is also within walking distance. Taxi ride to hotel from airport cost $39 NZ (about $20 US).
