Good Hotel
myself and 5 other family members stayed at the Mondial for 2 nights preceeding a cruise. we found the hotel to be very clean, staff was very helpful (also spoke English), and the hotel was centrally located to many attractions. it is also near the bus stops. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel with a short walk away from Romes Main Train Terminal
My wife, another couple & I really like this hotel as it is located about 3 blocks from "Romas Termini" or the main train station to all of Italy. The hotel is clean & the breakfast is good with a variety of food & not just bread, jam & tea/coffee. The front desk staff is great; especially Valentino, willing to answer all questions & recommend great local restaurants. The only complaint is that the air conditioning is one step better than an ice cube in front of a fan especially when we were there in Aug and was over 39C/100F. We switched rooms & was the same.

Right on the Money!
Between the helpful hotel staff to the handy location that afforded one the opportunity to walk to the train station and also its close proximity to the sights, one could not ask for a better location than the Best Western Mondial. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. I stayed there for two nights when I first got to Rome and two nights at the end of my stay in Italy. I will definitely stay there when I do return to Rome.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
By all means pay a visit to the Giglio Restaurant that is located a few doors down from the hotel. The food was scrumptious and the service impeccable. As well, stop in at the shop that sells Murano glassware (it is worth a look see). Plus, you can walk to all the main tourist attractions.
