Mexico City airport Hilton

Fantastic as always to have a great hotel right inside Terminal 1 of the Mexico City airport. With an early morning (6:30 a.m.) international flight it is the only way to go. They provided anything a leisure or business traveer could need.

Jam packed market with all prices below your wildest dreams...Lagunilla in Mexico City near "mariachi square" not far from the Zocolo. High end shopping plus a great mall with an anchor store like old Bloomingdale´s N.Y., Go to Polanco and start shopping....Louis Vuitton , Tane, Tiffany, Gucci, ....and more are waiting for you. Foodies will love the gourmet and award winning restaurants such as PUJOL and AQUILA Y SOL:

Perfect solution

The Hilton at this airport is the perfect solution when travelling internationally and having to make a transfer. Already two of my friends have stayed here on their way to visit us in Mexico. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in Terminal I.

Good Airport Hotel

This was very convenient as I needed to meet various people as they arrived into Mexico City Airport, and I was able to just take the elevator to do so. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable. There are several good eateries close by, if you don’t choose to eat at the hotel, which is a good option. In fact, the only draw back was airplane noise until about midnight, and then starting in again in the early morning, but then I was staying at the airport, so it really wasn’t unexpected.

Convenient airport hotel

This is in the main terminal and not in the same terminal where most international flights arrive. You’ll need to take a 5 peso bus between terminals -- easy enough except if you are hauling lots of luggage. The hotel had only one mini bar key (for the entire place, it seems) so after the bellman opened the mini bar we had to leave it open...only in Mexico, gotta love it!

Nice Hotel if you can afford it.

Hotel service was great. It was nice of them to remember me from several months ago. This a was short business trip and did not have much time to look around to recommend places to go.

This is a HIlton?

It was a nightmare. The AC didn’t work. We were all sweating to death... They sent a mechanic who did nothing. Then we moved to another room at 1 a.m. Ugh.

Good in a pinch

Can’t beat it for an in-between flight overnight. My problem was that the windows don’t open. I hate that. And there were two power failures at the airport, plunging us into darkness. But the bed was extremely comfortable, there was a porter in the morning to take my bags to the Air Train to go to Terminal 2 (international arrivals and departures)and there was a container of delicious pineapple juice in the lobby.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

My prepaid room was less expensive through Expedia.

Worst hotel in Mexico

In the past few decades I have stayed at over two dozen different hotels in Mexico. This abomination is the worst. The reception desk was manned by two persons, one of whom had no clue how to use her computer. It took forever, and when we finally were given a room, it turned out to be already occupied. Back to reception and start the process over. The final room was small, furnishings were minimal, the safe was non-functioning, the heating did not work (outside air was 38 farenheit) and the minibar was inaccessible because the lock was broken, and they couldn’t fix it. They finally replaced the entire minibar, but it’s contents were minimal. The hotel restaurant looks like the breakfast room in a second rate resort. (We ate dinner downstairs inside the Airport.) At checkout, reception did not have the credit card information I had given only 8 hours earlier. Better to stay at the Camino Real Airport Hotel, even though it takes a few minutes more to reach check-in.

Convenient, yes, but everything else, no

You can practically roll out of bed to the International check-in counters from your hotel room - talking about convenience! But everything else is left to be desired. My hotel room window opens up to the international arrivals hall and I can hear the din of flight arrival announcements all night long. Unfortunately, my hotel room is below a Mexican cantina restaurant on the lower level. I could smell the rice and beans all night long through the hotel vents.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Excellent Service and Best Mexico City Airport Location

Have stayed at this hotel several times. Service is great from all departments in the hotel. All of the staff go over and above to see that their guests are happy. Porter service from the hotel to your airline check-in is awesome - you do not have to carry your bags! Very well managed hotel gets our highest recommendations.

Cigarette smoke problem

Cant beat waking up in the morning and being right in the airport for early flight. Lots of food and shopping on first floor. In a non smoking room but cigarette smoke came in most of night from under door adjacent room.
