Lots of small problems add up to a big headache
The Sol Guadalupe hotel was okay but definitely NOT a *** three star rating. Problems: 1. Hotel does not deserve a *** three star rating 2. Power out at least four times - off and on the first for over 4hrs, 4+ hrs the second, 5+ hrs the third and 5+ hrs the fourth time. 3. Repairing the generator for a day on the next floor down 4. Power outage caused, by rain which was not intense 5. We were the ONLY building that was without power in the area on three of the four outages 6. Internet access was down 70% or more 7. All three of us started feeling ill from the food 8. Food was obviously reconstituted from day to day
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Drinking, drinking and more drinking leading to widely and loudly sung English bawdy tunes at 3am... if you want a quiet night, forget it. If you want to get drunk and hang out with a bunch of plastered Brits, this is your place.
