Right on the lake
Cant beat the location - right on the lake. Check out the pottery/glass studio just a block away that allows the public to watch them work. Also close enough to walk to some of the other downtown activities. Breakfast buffet was tasty, diverse and not that expensive.Only minus is parking. I had a big rental car and maneuvering in the self-park underground garage was a bit of a challenge.

Nice place; good deal
The Radisson Harbourfront offered a comfortable hotel room, very reasonable rates for downtown Toronto, and easy access to local amenities. The hotel was located just a couple of blocks from the Rogers Center, CN Tower and Convention Center. The dining district was a few blocks further, but not a bad walk at all as long as the weather is reasonable. There is a very nice 24 hr grocery store across the street that has a great deli counter. The rooms are decent-nothing extravagant, but comfortable. My only gripe would be it would be nice if the fitness room were better equipped. There were a handful treadmills and bikes, but only one cable machine that is difficult for more than one to use at a time.

Would not recommend
We were on the third floor facing the highway. The trolly and traffic were extreamly loud all night. There was also a maintenance crew working outside our window at 6:30am. When we complained to the front desk, nothing was done to remedy the situation, not even an appology. Sleep number bed was very uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

What happened to my sleep Number Bed???
The hotel promised sleep number beds in all guest rooms, but I guess that didnt include mine. I was also dissapointed by the fact that they didnt have black out drapes, nor a fridge in the room. There were other things that they stated they provided which they did not. The room was a good size and clean (except for the extra blanket, I have no idea what was all over that, nor do I want to know). With the long list of extras that never materialized and the location which I found was a little too far away from everything, I wont be staying there again. For a little more money the Fairmont is a much better choice.

Great Location
This hotel is short walk to Rogers Center, the CN Tower and the Front Streets restaurants. An added plus is that the hotel is on the Citys watrerfront which has restaurants and entertainment venues. Trollys on Queens Quay connect to the subway system offering convient access to the entire city. Good location for any type of traveler.

Great!
This hotel is two blocks from Rogers Centre, great for baseball fans. The streetcar stops in front of the hotel and once you get used to the system you can go anywhere in the city. The hotel staff was a great help in suggesting routes and subway connections. Weve stayed there before and will stay again.

Great Waterfront Location
The Raddison is located right on the water front on lake shore drive and one block from CN Tower, Rogers Stadium and many city center attractions. It was also easy to access off of the freeway on scenic Lake Shore Drive.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Take the double decker bus tour. It was a great way to get the lay of the city and take in sights that we would have missed otherwise.

A little distant from Eaton Centre, but perfect for Rogers Centre
My wife and I went to Toronto for the first round of the World Baseball Classic. We chose the Radisson based on previous experiences with Radisson Hotels and the proximity of this hotel to Rogers Centre. The room was very well apportioned. The view was overlooking the harbor and the next building over, but still quite fine. Shoeless Joes, a local restaurant and pub located on the first floor, was a good find, too. For those visiting Toronto and not heading to a Blue Jays game, there is a street car stop right in front of the hotel that goes to Union Station, where you can transfer to any subway line. We made it to Eaton Centre in about 10 minutes without problem. For us in March, the harbor was a bit chilly, but it would be a great spot in the spring or summer. CN Tower is also within walking distance. The hotel staff was always courteous and accommodating, and the room was quite clean and in good standing. Theres also a pizza shop next door to Shoeless Joes that had pretty good pie, too.
Traveler's tip
For those folks traveling with large SUVs or trucks, the parking for the hotel is underground, and narrow with a rather low clearance. We had a mid-sized pickup truck that barely fit. Cars will be fine, but full sized trucks and/or SUVs may struggle.

Poor service and understanding of local area
The location is terrible for anyone prodominantly doing shopping and touristy things. The staff lack good knowledge, and when asked to assist with planning activities during the day, they either had no experience (eg wine tours) or we very reluctant to assist. Transport to and from the airport is an excruiating exercise, as the airport bus is located 10 mins away. Some staff clearly didnt understand basic english or french, and were poorly trained.

Dissapointing
I selected this hotel based on location and according to the opinions of travelers. When I arrived, they let me know out that the restaurant was closed, so they provided me a 5 dollar ticket to go to a nearby coffee pub. This amount wa nothing compared to the fee I paid for the room as well for breakfast included. Another matter is that the parking is not secured. During my stay the windows of 4 cars were destroyed and stolen.

I will definitely stay there again
I enjoyed my short stay at the Radisson-Harbourfront. The staff was courteous as well as professional. The location was perfect for my needs. I will definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip
If you do a MapQuest to find the hotel, you will find out quickly that the streets arent marked very well (for tourists). Be careful.

Comfortable Room, Good Price
I stayed a long weekend at the hotel in October. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. But the exchange rate from US$ was terrible, so use a bank instead. I was on the 4th floor, so there was no city view. I should have asked for the top floor room. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and lots of channels on the TV. 2 computers in the business center on the 4th floor with free internet access.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The street car stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to Union Station. Or the walk to Union station is like 6 blocks. I never took my car out of the parking garage.

Our hotel experience was excellent; especially the Toronto location near the lake and the CN tower.
Our Toronto 5 day trip was very enjoyable. The hotel is a very comfortable one and with breakfast yet. The hotel dining area was a glassed in balcony with a view of Lake Ontario and the full breakfast was part of the hotel service. The hotel staff were friendly and generously helped up with Toronto information. Also, Toronto has a lot to offer, wonderful and awe inspiring city architecture.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The downtown Toronto area has great museums, hop on and hop off buses are a good idea to see more than you would walking. Shopping at the stores is a must for the ladies, especially the Hudson Bay. St. Michaels Cathedral and area around it is worth a stroll. Be sure to get the city bus fares as the buses are a worthwhile conveyance for getting around. The Royal Ontario Museum is expensive, , but very worthwhile and use a docent.

Great Stay!
The hotel staff was very accomodating, both at the front desk and the cleaning staff. We started off in a corner room, which was a huge suite! It was great! We later changed rooms to be on the same floor as friends and the sleep number bed was amazing! The room was very nice. Parking is expensive, but to be expected since it is downtown. But a very safe area. Close to the Eaton Center. An overall great stay!

Location, location, location!
For a summer visit, its hard to imagine a more enjoyable location in Toronto - harbor-side and within walking distance to much of downtown, including a great 24-hour grocery right across the street, the Rogers Center, CN Tower and several restaurants worth exploring on longer visits. Aside from a lingering suspicion that our room was perhaps other than what was reserved and paid for in advance - not much of a harbor view, definitely not a pool view, and a king bed only through some insistence (in that they were allegedly "overbooked") - the hotel experience was one that we know well look forward to again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Pier 4, next door, was great for lunch. If booking on-line, call the hotel with your confirmation number and request a room on the fifth floor or higher.

Tough to sleep
I dont know that you can do anything about it, but the street sweepers that go up and down the street at midnight in the wee hours make it hard to sleep.
