This Hotel is a disservice to Expedia Customers
I have stayed in many Expedia Recomended Properties and have been verry satisfied, but this was the first time that I was shocked by the Hotel. Upon arrival I noticed that the hotel was washing the rooms with a power washer!!! enough said!!! We elected to leave the property without spending the night. We were not offered a refund.

Dump and Dive.
I’ve been traveling the better part of 20 years and the Parkwood Inn is the biggest dump I’ve ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere! I stayed because of the price, big mistake!!!!!

Parkwood Inn
We finally arrived at the hotel after driving around for a while. This hotel is not clearly marked on the road. I had to call the hotel to find out its location. Once I had the address I found it ok. Immediately after opening the door to our room, we were engulfed in a mildewy and musty smell. We thought it was because there was no air conditoning and the room needed to air out. It didn’t help! The next day we had to ask the lady at the front desk to have the maids use carpet fresh and vacuum; which she didn’t. We finally got the lady at the front desk to give us carpet fresh and come and vacuum the room. Also there was dried blood on the bathroom floor which we had to ask for bleach wipes to get up because the maid didn’t get it up. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The only positive thing I can say about our room was that the size was great. It allowed us to spread out and not be cramped.
Traveler's tip on dining
You must go eat at the Sea Galley restaurant and Snow City Cafe while in Anchorage. These 2 are my favorite places to eat.
