Would definitely stay at Laguna again
The Laguna Resort was an excellent choice. We took advantage of an Expedia special rate so we got great value for the money. The beach was great for swimming and not crowded. During low tides (every 12 hours) there were numerous pools on the hotel premises to choose from. The entire place was very nicely designed, clean, well maintained ......just very pretty. The lagoon pools are just amazing. The rooms are quite spacious. Service was impeccable, room even includes 24 hour butler service. Can’t think of a single thing to complain about.

Excellent Resort, makes Bali look good
I have been to several beaches in the world and Bali is not the most impressive, it has the charm of a hidden trasure and the unique indonesian culture but the beach is far from good, the sand is not white and the water is not turquoise, but this resort is very impressive. The service is first class, the food, the pools, the shows and the rooms are very well kept, and the laguna pool is beautiful. The concierge was very useful in all of our activities, they arranged everything. The people really makes you confortable and the room price is definitively worth the price. The food is separate, but the breakfast buffet and lunch is at a regular hotel cost, but dinner is highly overpriced and that’s the reason most people don’t stay to have dinner. The overall facilities are beautiful and I would recommend the resort to everybody. The security is also an important factor in indonesia and I was there during the last bomb time period, they installed further security measures to protect the customers which we appreciated. Thanls
Traveler's tip on local attractions
- A taxi from the Airport to Nusa Dua should be no more than $6 US - Everything is negotiable to a 1/2 of the price. - Be prepared with info about local attractions (rafting, monkey forest, etc.) and if possible know the prices to avoid overcharging. - You can ask a taxi driver to take you everywhere for about $40 USD per day, but negotiable with him depending on the distance.

This hotel is Paradise! Can’t wait to go back!
From the moment we stepped into the resort, we felt pampered and relaxed. The resort staff were all so pleasant! The smell of plumeria was wonderful! Plumeria trees are everywhere. The rooms were very inviting, with rich decor. Even the closet was beautiful solid wood, with complimentary flip flop sandals and crochet bag to carry your items to the pool or beach. Fresh flowers, chocolates and fruit on arrival was a really special touch! I cannot say enough about the personal butler which is totally free of charge, wow! you would never see this at any US hotel... pots of tea or coffee at any hour of the night or day, Terrific! Did I mention the complimentary bottles of water... as much as you want! All the restaurants on property were great and had very well thought out menus with delicious food. The special roast suckling pig dinner on the beach was great! The pools are so plentiful, (this is why I chose this resort) many pools to choose from and always clean and not crowded even the pool which is directly on the beach. This particular resort fogs the surrounding bushes/trees for mosquitos and bugs, so there was never any problem with bug bites. This is a very well maintained property and we cannot wait to come back! No complaints!! I have already recommended this resort to my friends back home.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take a tour or two of the country, it is well worth the small price to see the culture, and experience the island. Our tour included lunch overlooking the rice terraces, and sunset dinner on the beach. My one important tip is to use bottled water to brush your teeth so you won’t end up with "Bali Belly" in other words, don’t drink the tap water and you’ll be fine!

great place to stay
This hotel is good for people of all ages, the pools are fantastic, service fantastic. very quiet, not great for teens as night life is no existent.

Take a trip of the island, Bali is so much more than Nusa Dua. The taxi’s are cheap!

Relaxing Getaway
Laguna Resort & Spa was a relaxing place; we felt pampered the moment we walked into the building. The room was comfortable; although more storage for clothes would be nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. When we needed a doctor, one showed up in our room in 15 minutes.

Laguna Bali
Great, quite beach location. Hotel property well kept & very child friendly pool area. Breakfast was fabulous!
Very well maintained hotel, clean,safe & great beach location. Rooms were a bit small for price. Not so child friendly as rooms had steps inside.

Modern, well maintained hotel
We had a lovely stay in the Laguna resrt. Unfortunately there was not much of an atmosphere in the hotel as it was pretty quiet at night, partly due to only being half full (at spring break) and partly due to the extreme over pricing of food and drinks compared to what you can buy for outside. I have to say that all the other hotels were the same. We were also pestered non stop by local vendors on the beach, it was not very relaxing, but not sure what the hotel can do about this. Very nice resort though.

cycling trip from Kuntimani volcano though the villages was fantastic - (we went with Sobek)
