Great location awful service
If this hotel was well run, it would be a great hotel. Unfortunately, it is not. The staff don’t have a great command of the english language, they are rude and there is a lack of timely service that baffled us. What a shame.

Make sure to go to the tennis club, it is wonderful!

Nice stay in Wimbledon
A great manor house with beautiful grounds a short walk from the lovely village of Wimbledon--hey, there’s more than tennis that goes on there. The tube station is about a 15 min walk from the hotel and a taxi ride about $15. The hotel sits across from a nice park and the grounds of the hotel itself are beautiful. Plus, free parking for guests--almost unheard of in London! Dinner in the restaurant was great--be sure to make reservations as soon as you check in. Cocktails at the bar afterwards were also very pleasant. Get a glass of wine and stroll through the two floors of art exhibits. Cannizaro House will definitely be a repeat visit if I find myself in London again.

After Xmas and before New Year stay
We previously stayed in March 2007 one night for wedding reception and it was very good and basis for our return this time. However even though discount room rate via expedia for this period some poor conditions for example; -one light in room not functioning, requested fix but never done - front desk could not give local information on parking at Wimbledon station - Jan 31st breakfast around around 7.15am no dining staff turned up for 15 minutes after asking for - no information in room provided on mini bus service Very nice gardens
