Good Location with large rooms
I was traveling with a large group (13 people). We arrived before our rooms were ready. They kindly stored everyones luggage for the few hours. The rooms were larger than we expected. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable with hard wood floors. Everyone was definatly impressed. I felt this hotel was in a good location. It was close enough to walk to the Cathderal and the Plaza De Toros. (on the other side of the river). There are little markets and stores nearby as well. There are many people out in the late night having dinner, etc. so you definately feel safe walking about. The only complain that I have is that the front desk was not always helpful and a bit on the rude side. They were not accommidiating to us when we were trying gather information. We needed help trying to make sense of a bus and train schedule. We also were wanted to know were we could get a cup of cofee. They made it seem like a bother to have to answer our questions. I thought that was part of their job! I think they need to train the front desk on better customer service. It was hot in the summer. This hotel doesn’t have a pool. The city is so beautiful though that you’ll want to spend time exploring it.

Excellent hotel for the price
Location is excellent, and it is a *real* hotel, not a hostel. It is in the Triana district, near Betis St., by the river and hypertouristic. We did not eat or drive during our stay, which seem to be drawbacks ($$$) other travelers have expressed.

good value
Although not in Sevilla Centro, Hotel Zenit is just a short 15-20 min. walk from Triana to Sevilla’s main attractions. There was always someone at the front desk who spoke English. The hotel is tucked back, away from the road so it was quiet at night, yet bustling with activity the moment you step out onto the main street. A good choice, I would stay there again!
