A Great Place To Stay!
Wonderful location, just a short walk to Grand Central Station. Rooms were very nice and much larger than most Ive stayed in in NYC. Great place to stay if you want to be away from Times Square.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take advantage of the car service. Great FREE way to get where you are going, although you will need to plan for a cab or subway ride back to the hotel.

Good and bad
Nice location, on quiet street but within easy walking distance of main sites as well as Gramercy, Murray HIll, etc. Some nice neighborhood restaurants. No lobby to speak of, bar did not have one person in it the entire 4 day trip, although we were told hotel was sold out. Confirmed with hotel a month in advance that we would have double beds but when we arrived they had none so we needed a roll away. Room was nice, decent size, comfortable bed, simeple buy clean & modern bath. Room had windows but no view, no extras except the nice Bliss toiletries. Location is the best aspect of this hotel.

Only one complaint about the noise from outside
It can tell the hotel is renovated from a old building. The paint on the wall and the doors is so thick that there are so many other layers donw below it. The hotel should install double glass window. you can hear very clear at night all the cars from outside.
