It was quiet.
We were in a wing of the hotel far from the entrance. It was quiet, but a long walk to the room. The hotel caters to bus tours. Only people on a bus tour could dine in the main dining room. All other guests had to dine in the bar where many of the seats were stools. We dined at a restaurant near the Bunratty Castle. It was attractive and clean, but I would not stay there again.

MUSTY HOTEL
REMEMBER THAT YOUR IN IRELAND AND ITS STILL BELOW THAT STANDARD THE POOL WAS NICE , THE BREAKFAST WAS WAY OVER CHARGED 3 PEOPLE ALMOST $ 60 US DOLLARS. BAR FOOD PRETTY SORRY DONT RECOMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES LOOKS BET TER ON THE INTERNET THAN REALLY IS OUR TRAVEL DATES WERE 13/10/09

WE THOUGHT WE WOULD STAY HERE BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERY THING ON THE WEST SIDE AND IT IS.YOU CAN MAKE DAY TRIPS FROM HERE VERY EASY AND ONLY 45 MIN FROM AIRPORT SHANNON

Decent Hotel in Ennis
This hotel was sprawling, with only one way in. There are many exits to closer parking lots but only the front door can be entered. They should really install keyed entry doors at all exits. My room had three twins which was good for the three of us. The duvets were small however and tended to let in cold air when one turned over. Could not adjust the heat in the room, either and it was chilly. We ran out of toilet paper one morning, the coffee was not replenished one day, and vacuuming was minimal so housekeeping could have been better. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially after I got a flat tire and needed someplace to fix the flat. WE did not eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on that. There was a Lidl grocery store ajacent where we stocked up on very reasonable picinic supplies. WE had a very good rate for our stay, but I would not have been happy at the rack rate.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The grocery next door is a great value for snacks and sandwich makings. The village had several places with good lunch specials.
