spacious rooms for Norway!
Rooms were very spacious for a European hotel! King bed available. Large bathroom with shower/tub combo. The hotel’s exterior is all glass, it is getting worn looking.

Very comfortable, great location
Our group of five had a very nice stay at the Radisson SAS. Central location was a draw, 10 minute walk to the train station was also a plus for us. Beautiful breakfast setting. Some rooms with view of the river. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient
This was a great place to stay the weekend while my wife and I visited Trondheim. A short walk from the ship docks and train station, and with the Airport Bus stopping in front of the hotel, the Radisson was a very good choice for my wife and me. It is not the prettiest exterior, with a parking lot and busy street in front, but inside it is very clean and pleasant. Breakfast buffet is large and well-prepared. The hotel is minutes away from Trondheim’s old town and main shopping district, with Nidaros Cathedral an easy 10-15 min walk away. Plenty of restaurants, clubs, bars, malls, shops nearby. The main plus is the indoor pool, with jacuzzi (though the water in the tub was more warm than hot). There were plenty of kids and the hotel seems kid-friendly, though it is also fine for business. Other Comments: Everyone speaks perfect English, which is usual for cities in Norway. Laundry and garbage bags were sometimes left in the hallways. Someone had signed a hefty bill for our room number, but the front desk had no problem to take it off our bill.
Traveler's tip on dining
The front desk gave us a dining recommendation, for a simple and very tasty seafood dinner: Fru Inger, by the boat pier. Excellent.
