Nice quite hotel in the down town area
The hotel is near the main station and therefore close to main sightseeing sports of Florence. And for travelling outside of florence the nearby train and bus station are really convenient. The hotel is located on a quite street. The room and bathroom are spacious. Our breakfast was good, there’s plenty of choice even if you like to wake up late. There’s little to complaint about. So I really like to recommend this hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
There’s a nice italian (pizza)restaurant between the station and the hotel. On the first evening we’d our dinner there. It’s good food for a reasonable price.

Good, basic hotel
The hotel is well located for business travelers. The room is small but well equiped. Service is courteous and good. Price is OK for a hotel in Zurich, but not cheap for what it offers.

Will NOT Go Back Anytime Soon
There are 3 things that this hotel does not have: location, location, location! Though less than 30mins away (on foot) from all the major attractions, it’s still relatively far! I would have been better off staying in a more centrally located hotel for the price I paid here! Also, I don’t agree of it beign a 4-star. Back in the 80’s maybe but not in today’s standards. And here are my reasons: 1) I almost got burned from the hair dryer - there was no handle. 2) The carpet, fixtures and sheets are old. 3) We were given a room with a private balcony but there was no door. We had to climb up the window to get out. And to tilt open the window always get stuck on the curtain. I’ll come back when the Metro tram (currently being constructed) is done and when they fully-renovate the hotel which will fix all my complaints above! Other than that, the buffet breakfast and the hotel service are phenomenal!
