Would love to go again
The hotel staff was very nice and friendly however I had to practice my Spanish a bit. One drawback was not being able to use my laptop MAC but I think it was a communication thing seeing as my computer spanish is not great. Buses are just around the corner so no need for a car. We walked alot, safely, Lots to see from here as a central location including hiking the Sierra Nevadas, Pyrenees, Alhambra, Cathedrals, shopping etc etc. Yesterdays is a great restaurant around the corner. Lots of Tapas bars and lots to see Loved it

Single beds?
We walked into a room with two single beds! We were a married couple, which was obvious during our check in and they still gave us this room. I dont know if there are other options in this hotel or not, but I was shocked that something like this even existed in a hotel (maybe b/c Im a "naieve" American) but it was definitely odd. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable otherwise. If you dont know English (my husband is fluent in Spanish) you will be very uncomfortable here as almost no one at the front desk knew any English at all. This hotel is in the business district of Granada- very hard to find (we kind of stumbled upon it despite google maps best efforts) and it was NO WHERE NEAR any historical sites, esp. the Alhambra- in fact it is at least a 15 minute drive away. Dont count on being close to anything- its in a "scary" part of Granada. Dont be fooled!
Not a family friendly hotel- the elevators are TINY and its not close to any historical sites. Its in the night party area of Granada.

Great deal for the Alhambra in Granada
Great price for good clean hotel. Within walking distance of the center of the city, but outside the worse traffic. Wondereful courtesy on the day Ii was leaving late: I was not charged for an extra day parking.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Save pain and strain when in Granada. Good location for center of the city, but you will need to taxi or take own car to the Alhambra. Fortunately, a quick and inexpensive taxi ride.
