Airport Inn Hotel

Great value - clean !!

At first glance this hotel appears like most of the non-chain/non-franchise hotel. Check-in was great - very nice front desk staff. Lobby is aging but well maintained and clean. Rooms look like they have been re-done within the last year. Again - very CLEAN - well sticked with soap/shampoo and towels. Breakfast was included. It was a full, cooked to order, breakfast. Wait staff was also very nice. Once I thought about it for a moment I realized the staff really made me feel welcome. If I get back to Salt Lake I will stay there again.

Make sure to catch both a sunrise and sunset and see the Temple at night.

You Get What You Pay For

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel where we could sleep, shower and go. This fit the bill. It is a no frills hotel that is showing its age. We were on the second floor and we could hear the people upstairs when they walked around because the floors would squeak. The breakfast that everyone raves about is nothing more than hash browns, eggs, toast, and bacon. Again, you get what you pay for. The location was great because it is on the out skirts of the city and close to the airport (free shuttle). The rooms were clean, just dated. I would recommend this hotel if you were looking for a cheap place to sleep and be on your way. FYI - the indoor pool is located in the lobby and adjacent to the bar. So if you are shy, swimming in front of strangers, you have been warned.

It’s an OK place. Room was quiet. Trash had not been removed from wastebasket. Otherwise fine. Staff serving the "free" breakfast was a bit overwhelmed. It’s a good place if you want something close to the airport, convenient for a late arrival.
