I have never written a negative hotel review because if I'm on vacation I always look for the positive. However, there were several problems with our two night stay. First, the gentleman working the front desk the day of check in was incredibly rude, no personality, and acted bothered that people were checking in. He mumbled, never made eye contact, and grunted more than he spoke. Upon arriving to our room, I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned but the property seems dated so it could have been from age. However, the pull out sofa bed has holes in the cushions. There was absolutely no additional sheets, blankets, or pillows for our boys to use. Then, the air conditioner was so loud whenever running it woke us all up throughout the night both nights. It sounded like a spaceship landing when it turned on and stayed at this high pitch yell throughout. We like to sleep cold and ended up turning it up to limit it coming on. The first night there, our TV was set to Spanish. I went down and asked the guy at the front desk and again, he acted bothered. By the time he finally made it to the room I had figured it out using Google translate on my phone. It isn't that the TV was the issue, it was the staff being less than welcoming. This is our second stay here, the first was eleven years ago, but I don't know that we could return after several really negative encounters.
