Bed qualities differ from room to room
We’ve stayed in this motel 2 times. First time, all was perfect, just what we expected and wanted. Second time, the bed in our room was TERRIBLE. Completely different from the room the earlier trip. I think the mattress was quite old. The bed was more than firm (I have a firm bed at home and prefer firm beds), it was just plain HARD. It squeaked in a funny way when we turned over and it dipped in the middle, rather like the old I Love Lucy episode. My back hurt the entire time I was in the Twin Cities. We’ll give this motel one more try and hope for a better mattress. If we get another bad mattress, there’s plenty of other hotels in the area.

It was great
Couldn’t believe the size of the room and the kitchenette. It was so quiet. The staff was very helpful.

Convenient to the airport
I had a late flight and wanted to spend the night in a motel before going to visit family the next day. This motel fit my needs. It is convenient to the airport and the suburbs south of St. Paul. It is well equipped for travelers planning a longer stay, but I only needed it for one night.
