by the sea
Our stay at the Pine Beach Motel was very good. The manager was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We had a pleasant nights sleep and went on our way.

Quiet, peaceful and with it’s own private beach.
Although this hotel is dated it has its own private beach - just a short walk from our room - and is centrally located to the towns of Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The price is a bargain. it was clean and relaxing. Ask for a room in the back if possible, off the main highway. A nice small continental breakfast was offered also.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
This hotel is less expensive than the hotels on the beach in nearby Fort Bragg. it has a secluded beach of its own in a small cove, very nice.

Will not stay there again
Like the private beach but the room had a terrible smell and the place needs an remodel and fresh paint.
Bring air freshener or candle.
